The hydro chemical regime of the River Ural is examined. The irrigational quality of water, used for irrigation, was evaluated. The sanitary-and-hygienic suitability of the river water was determined for the water supply of inhabitants. The concentration of copper exceeds the sanitary-and -hygienic norms by 10 times. Among heavy metals the concentration of iron exceeds MAC by 2,2-3,1 times.
