2 The article should set out the author(s') own conclusions, intermediate or final results of scientific research, experimental or analytical activities (author's developments, recommendations, previously unpublished and novelty, etc.).
3 Articles should be accompanied by an official letter for publication from the institution in which the work was carried out, indicating the authors.
4 Information about the authors: full name, organization, country name, addresses of all authors of the article with the indication of the main author. Authors provide a permanent active digital identifier (ORCID) or a link to institutional profiles. In this case, the surname, name, patronymic of the author with whom you should correspond, his e-mail address, contact phone number must be indicated.
5 The volume of scientific articles should be 10-12 pages (including tables, figures, diagrams), review - no more than 15 pages.
6 Scientific articles are accepted on the journal's website after the author's registration in the system: https://journal.soil.kz/jour/index. After uploading, the article is checked in the Antiplagiat licensing system against international databases. Articles are reviewed in the system using blind peer review.
7 Articles should be typed in MS Word, Times New Roman font, font size 11 pt., line spacing 1, paragraph indent 10 mm; margins: left and right - 30 mm, top and bottom - 35 mm.
8 The beginning of the article is formatted according to the sample: on the left is the State Rubricate of Scientific and Technical Information (SRSTI) or the Interstate Rubricate of Scientific and Technical Information (IRSTI). Then information about the authors is given: initials and surnames of the authors, affiliations (place of the main work of the author(s) and organization(s) where the research was conducted, addresses of all authors of publications, including the indication of the main author, city, country, address e-mail).
9 Hyphenation is not allowed in the title of the article, headings of all levels, titles of tables and figures. Hyphenation is allowed only in words in the text of the article.
10 Structure of the scientific article: TITLE, ABSTRACT, KEYWORDS, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS AND THEIR DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION or CONCLUSIONS, EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION or GRATITUDE (if necessary), INFORMATION ON FUNDING (if any), REFERENCES.
When describing the method, discussing the results and in conclusions, verbs in the past tense should be used.
11 The title of the article should fully reflect its content. Articles should be carefully edited.
12 ABSTRACT (up to 300 words) should include a description of the main topic, the problems of the scientific article, the goals of the work and its results. It should not include: well-known provisions, quotations, abbreviations, references, abbreviations, unnecessary introductory phrases. After the abstract, it is necessary to give KEY WORDS in the language of the article. A few basic concepts that characterize the content of the article (5-7 words).
In addition, all these data are presented in Kazakh (TUIIN) and English (SUMMARY) (in Russian (SUMMARY), if the article is in Kazakh) at the end of the manuscript on a separate page with keywords.
The abstract and keywords should be typed in the text editor MS Word, Times New Roman font, font size 10 pt., line spacing 1. Next, the text of the article is placed. Underlining in the text is not allowed.
13 The INTRODUCTION should clearly state the current scientific and practical state of the issue, the justification for the need for this study, the relevance, novelty and purpose of the study.
14 MATERIALS (objects) AND METHODS OF RESEARCH should contain the following information:
- soil characteristics indicating agrochemical, physicochemical, agrophysical, biological and other indicators, as well as methods for their determination and the regulatory documents used (for example, GOST, ISO);
- plant growing conditions, including agronomic practices, climatic conditions, agrobackground, sowing schemes and care,
- cultivated varieties/hybrids of cultivated plants (exact names, originator),
- information about field experiments, including coordinates of sites, expeditionary sampling routes, schemes of variant placement, number of repetitions, area of experimental plots;
- description of analytical methods used to determine the properties of soils and plants, indicating the instruments (with name, model, manufacturer), laboratories where measurements were taken;
- applied methods of statistical data processing (for example, ANOVA, LSD, t-test, etc.), indicating the software (R, SPSS, Statistica, etc.).
15 In the section RESULTS AND THEIR DISCUSSION should consist in identifying the patterns following from the tables and figures and substantiating them. When discussing the results, it is necessary to compare the information obtained with the information available in the literature and show what the novelty is.
Experimental data in tables and text should be presented in the form of numbers with three significant digits, and percentages - with two. The article should specify the methods of statistical processing. In the article, all types of statistical errors should be given with no more than two significant figures, starting with the first non-zero digit on the left.
16 The article should use physical units and designations adopted in the International SI System (GOST 9867-61). All agrochemical and environmental terms in accordance with GOST. In the calculation works, it is necessary to indicate the authors of the programs used. It is desirable to use IUPAC terminology when naming different compounds. The transcription of geographical names should correspond to the atlas of the last year of publication. When describing the species composition of vegetation, it is necessary to give Russian and Latin names.
17 All abbreviations must be deciphered, with the exception of a small number of commonly used ones. Formulas referenced in the text should be numbered.
18 The design of numerical material must comply with the following rules:
- Numerical material should be given in the form of tables;
- tables are numbered in the order of mention in the text in Arabic numerals, the number should be followed by the name of the table;
- all columns in tables and the tables themselves must have headings.

- the number of tables in the article should not exceed five;
- it is not allowed to repeat the same data in the tables and graphs of the article;
- tabular data must be given with an accuracy corresponding to the accuracy of the method.
19 Original figures must be gif files, for high-quality printing the standard is 300 dpi (dots per inch). Figures (diagrams, etc.) should be filled with black and white hatching, dots or other patterns, and colors should be contrasting (maps, cartograms, etc.). Figures located in the text, if they are made of separate elements, should be grouped.
