Journal History

The journal Soil Science and Agrichemistry was created on the initiative of Academician of the NAS RK Saparov Abdulla Saparovich. He played a special role in spreading the ideas of soil science and agrichemistry in Kazakhstan and abroad. He was the editor-in-chief of the journal from 2008 to 2020. The journal became the first publication in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia that comprehensively covers all the issues of soil science. The first issue of the magazine was published in 2008. During this period, 45 issues, about 450 articles were published in Kazakh, Russian and English. The journal is a regional edition and Kazakhstani researchers and specialists as well as scientists from the CIS countries published and are publishing articles in it. The journal publishes the results of fundamental and applied researches and scientific -theoretical generalizations of the leading schools of soil scientists, agrichemists, agroecologists, land cultivators, crop production, hydro and reclamation specialists and representatives of other branches of  agricultural and biological sciences, in order to quickly assess the state of  soil surface and phytocenosis in  agricultural sector and develop measures aimed at increasing soil fertility and  production of environmentally friendly competitive products, as well as reducing the negative consequences of possible pollution of agroecosystems. Thus, the journal regularly provides scientific workers, business entities and agricultural specialists with data on innovations, the latest achievements of domestic and foreign agrochemical, soil, agronomic and other sciences, as well as materials for educational and practical seminars, scientific and practical conferences, etc.  “Soil Science and Agrichemistry" journal is designed for a wide range of scientists in the field of soil and agrochemical science, as well as agricultural specialists.
