Abstract
Laws of formation of a soil cover and morphologic-genetic properties of Northern Kaspy soils are studied; on the basis of generalisation and updating of existing cartographical and analytical materials, and also field researches, the electronic variant of a soil map of territory Northern Kaspy scale 1:500 000, with application of geoinformation technologies in Maplnfo Professional software and use of materials of space imaging is made.

Abstract
The article gives the characteristics of northern ordinary virgin and cultivated foothill gray soils. It is set those microbiological processes, which lead to complete mineralization, have the primary value in the resolution of vegetative remains. It is noted the low presence of humus, high porosity, micro-aggregation, carbonation of the whole soil profile, the presence of gypsum in a parent rock. There is a formation of optically oriented gypsum by the inner soil weathering and argillization of primary minerals influenced by the process of soil formation; also it is shown the difference in age of humus. It is identified that in the result of long-time gray soils plowing the sigh of degradation appears in arable layer; there is a lack of humus in the soil, the anthropogenic "lessivage" and the structural changers of pore space are observed.

Abstract
In the article, the results of studying of the seasonal iron dynamics under using of rice cultivation technology by seedling method in the pre-sowing of flooded soils are shown. It was found that at the pre-sowing of flooded soils the low-valency forms of iron was not accumulated in the soils in number causing of negative influence to the root of sprouts.
