Лауреат Государственнои премии Казахскои ССР Боровскии В.М. автор школы экологических основ природопользования, стратегии сохранения, рационального использования и повышения биологическои продуктивности почвенного покрова Казахстана, в своих трудах на основе разработаннои им теории единства лито-морфопедагенеза раскрывает сущность дельтового почвообразования в ариднои зоне. Заложил основополагающее начало и теоретическии фундамент эколого-мелиоративного почвоведения. Выделил четыре почвенно-галогеохимических провинции, уделил внимание антропогенному опустыниванию и соленакоплению в Приаралье, внес большои вклад в решение научных и прикладных почвенно-экологических проблем Казахстана.

In his works, on the basis of the theory of unity of litho-morphopedоgenesis developed by him, he reveals the essence of delta soil formation in the arid zone. He identified four soil-halogen-chemical provinces, paid attention to anthropogenic desertification and salt accumulation in the Aral Sea region, and made a great contribution to solving scientific and applied soil-ecological problems of Kazakhstan.
